Our Services Corporate Services Corporate Services Administration and Operations The organisation values staff and has a commitment to ongoing training and professional development to ensure they are competent and experienced in the field. In addition, the organisation places a lot of emphasis on the development of local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Staff Members to ensure high levels of retention and future sustainability of the organisation. Training NPA Family and Community Services have an annual Core Training calendar to ensure compliance for staff. Over the past 12 months, the following core training was provided. Over the past year, the following core training was provided: 6 monthly fire drill Mental Health First Aid Manual Handling First Aid CPR Recruitment and Selection Case Management, Art Therapy, Case Notes On top of Core Training, the organisation supported staff with professional development including conferences, workshops and in-services. In addition, we have supported staff to work towards the following qualifications: Certificate III in ATSI Primary Health Care (3 staff) Certificate IV in ATSI Primary Health Care (Practice) (6 staff) Diploma of Children Services (8 staff) Certificate III in Children Services (1 staff) Certificate IV in Community Services (2 staff) Diploma of Counselling (1 staff) Certificate IV of Governance (3 staff and 1 director) Certificate IV in Accounting (1 staff) Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety (2 staff)
