This is Faafili  Morseu

Faafili is a 19-year-old Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young male from New Mapoon and Badu Island. Faafili has one older brother and a younger sister. Faafili hobbies are hunting, spending time with families, friends and horse riding.

Faafili commenced with NPA Family and Community Services - Community Development Program on the 18/10/2023 and then started employment on the CDP Trial Project as a NPAFACS Floater on the 06/11/2023 and has been gaining work-like experiences/skills between Assets and Maintenance, Income Generated Activities - Nursery and Furniture Making. Faafili has been working frontline with CDP/Assets and Maintenance team assisting and supporting with organisational events, in-kind supports, community requests and promotions which he take pride in his day to day duties and always working to the best of his ability. Faafili loves coming to work and also enjoys the company of his work colleagues.

Since commencing on the CDP system Faafili has obtain his Provisional Licence, Blue Card, USI Number, First Aid Certificate, Mental Health First Aid Certificate, Certificate II in Infrastructure and Resources. Signed up to undertake Coxswain Course which starts in July 2024.

In 5 years' time Faafili sees himself working in the Mine as an Operator.
