The program provides support for First and Second Stolen Generations and people affected by these past policies and practices through counselling for individuals, group therapy, healing workshops and community events.

Over the past 12 months, the program has facilitated two successful events for the 10th Anniversary of the Apology to the Stolen Generations which 200 people participated in and for Reconciliation Week which over 100 people participated. People have started self-referring to the program and Group Work activities are being conducted with HACC and Playgroup. Two key projects have also started – My Story and Photobooks.

Through this, we have seen open discussions in the community about the history and its effects as well as discussions about the way forward. People are reconnecting with their personal histories and through the two projects are writing these complete with photos and other documentation.
